This June, it's all about sage. Our favourite shade of green this Summer.
You'll find sage popping up through all interior ranges, from candles to vases, sage is all the rage right now, and has just been released as a new paint colour by Kimberley Walsh, aptly titled - subtle sage!
Don't worry, we promise you won't miss out on the sage surge, as we've found some beauties from other websites as our top sage picks as well as showing off our very own sage range of urban lockers.
Below, we give you some 'sage' advice on how to incorporate this colour into your interior style.
What is sage? It's a mix between green and grey.
What goes well with sage green?
As much as we're a fan of 'matchy-matchy', sage green is super subtle, we can almost treat it as a neutral. You can pair with other natural hues such as pale cream, taupe, light grey or mustard, or you can go wild and pair with a darker green such as our Forest Green Lockers, or Slate Grey Lockers for a contrasting effect.
What patterns work well with sage?
Anything goes with sage, as we've already hinted - it's pretty much a neutral shade... But if you want to keep on trend this Summer, pair with leafy botanical prints and maybe some raffia or seagrass Mediterranean vibe accessories and extra baskets for storage.
Is sage a country look?
Yes sage can be seen in country homes and kitchens, sage is also the colour of the national trust logo. Whilst you can create a gorgeous country feel with sage, its clean colour makes well for sharp modern style too where you might want a pop of colour.
